3DMark06 is a benchmark that evaluates the performance of the computer and the graphics card.
3DMark06, one of the most popular market benchmark, tests the performance of the computer and the graphics card in particular. It combines more than twenty series of sophisticated tests (DirectX ® 9.0c, HDR, SM3.0, SM2.0, CPU, etc..), it includes two SM 2.0 tests addressing to DirectX 9.0 Graphics Card and two SM3.0 tests for DirectX 9.0c compatible cards.
The graphics card and processor are primarily evaluated by 3DMark to determine the overall performance of your system in real time 3D.
The software benefits from a new test Processors advantage of dual-core processors through the use of multiple concurrent processes.
Four scenes are once available: Return to Proxycon, Firefly Forest, Canyon Flight and Deep Freeze.

Important Notes:
- 3DMark06 (Build 1.0.2) is currently the only supported version of 3DMark06. Users are not able to submit any results to the Online ResultBrowser with any of the older versions of 3DMark06.
- The registration codes for older builds of 3DMark06 also work for 3DMark06 Build 1.0.2
