RAMDisk is a handy utility that offers to owners of computers more RAM memory which is vwry useful espacially if there are applications that need it. The software offers a gain of reactivity for all applications. RAMDisk acts as a virtual hard disk. It allocates free memory space and is considered a storage space.

RAMDisk can be used for indexing files and database tables on servers, temporary Internet files, the "scratch disk" for Adobe Photoshop, video capture, audio or other.

This program helps loading the Internet pages faster, creates temporary disks for plus of security, reduces compile time and more.

- Configuration option added to disable creation of a backup image file.
- Image file is automatically compressed when saving to an NTFS file system. In addition to reducing the amount of disk space required, this also dramatically reduces image save/load times. (There is a configuration option to disable this if so desired.)
