TaskSwitchXP offers a more comprehensive alternative to the famous Alt + Tab for switching windows.
TaskSwitchXP is an application for Windows XP which aims to replace the traditional Alt-Tab by close to what now exists in Windows Vista tool, namely a window displaying the list of thumbnails displayed in windows. TaskSwitchXP replaces the Windows Task Manager.
It provides the same functionality, and adds visual styles to the dialog and also enhances it by displaying thumbnail preview of the application that will be switched to.
This software is especially useful when many applications are launched as displays a screenshot of each of them in order to find them more easily.
A setup menu is available, to adjust the transparency, the positioning of the window or to specify whether TaskSwitchXP launches automatically at startup.
